UNDP’s crowdfunding campaign features a thoughtfully selected collection of cultural assets, both tangible and intangible, that urgently require reconstruction, restoration and preservation following the devastating earthquakes. These assets have been chosen to represent the diverse sites and regions affected, embodying the rich cultural fabric of our heritage.
It is crucial to emphasize that this list is by no means exhaustive and only serves as a starting point. Our intention in highlighting these specific assets is to emphasize the significant and urgent restoration needs across a wider range. The requirements for cultural heritage preservation in the region go well beyond that.
Therefore, while we welcome donations for the featured assets, we want to make it clear that contributions are equally appreciated for the wider spectrum of cultural heritage in need.
